The Woman's Club of Evanston performs its Annual Benefit Show every year in mid-March at its beautiful Clubhouse. Since 1951, the Benefit Show has been written,
choreographed, directed and performed by WCE members along with their spouses and friends.
The show features parodies of well-known songs dealing with topical issues and personalities. The Benefit Show raises approximately $30,000 for an
organization determined by the Contributions Committee.
2011's show will help fund the Children's Home + Aid Art Therapy Program. This program provides Expressive Therapy to children (boys and girls) ages 6 to 14 who have been physically and sexually abused. It recognizes the power of artistic expression in the emotional healing process and empowers children to externalize their experience through art and movement.
