Community Grants

THE WOMAN’S CLUB OF EVANSTON IS NOW ACCEPTING
2024-2025 GRANT APPLICATIONS!

Since 1889, The Woman’s Club of Evanston (WCE) has proudly supported organizations that make a difference in our community.  This year, we are celebrating the 24th year of the WCE’s Community Grants Program.  Each year, not-for-profit 501(c)(3) organizations in Evanston and the surrounding communities are invited to submit grant applications.  Since 2000, the WCE’s Contributions Committee has designated an annual Giving Focus.  For the 2024-2025 application cycle, the Giving Focus is as follows:

The Woman’s Club of Evanston seeks grant applications from organizations and
programs that combat loneliness or isolation in the Evanston community.

Loneliness and isolation have emerged as a public health crisis in recent years.  All applicants should clearly describe how their project fits within this Giving Focus.

Applications will be used to select recipients for the following categories of support:

  • 2024-2025 Community Small Grants (generally $500-$5000, averaging $1,250)
  • 2026 WCE Revue Beneficiary (generally $20,000-$60,000, averaging $30,000)
  • 2026 WCE Spring Benefit Beneficiary (generally $30,000+)
  • 2025-2026 Clubhouse Usage Award
  • Applications are also used to identify organizations for Community Outreach volunteer short-term and single day service projects
