Join Book Buzz & Social & Enrichment as we hear from WCE member Frieda Walter. Frieda Walter will discuss her recently published memoir A Woman from Iran: Perseverance and Resilience at this Social Committee-sponsored event. The book was edited by Joy Schwabach, another WCE member. In talking about her book, Frieda says that the book “describes my life journey. I offer the reader a detailed account of my life experiences, emphasizing the resilience that got me past life’s tragedies and the perseverance that helped me transition from nurse-midwife to chief operating officer.”

We will have a Fireside Chat and Q&A featuring Frieda and Joy. Members are welcome to come for social time beginning at 6:30 p.m. The event kickoff formally at 6:45 p.m. Appetizers and desserts will be served.
